Just as most professions do, coaches and organizational consultants have a variety of diagnostic tools to help us understand and explain a client’s situation. Some data is obtained by asking other’s for feedback, such as through a 360 Degree Feedback survey or assessment interviews. Other data is collected from the individual about themselves.
We offer a variety of assessments to aid us in understanding the dynamics of the situation, and the key leverage points for action:
Assessment Interviews
360° Feedback Assessments
Organization/Department Assessments
Team Assessments
Individual Assessments
Observational/Shadowing Assessments
Please contact us to discuss individual or group assessment options. Integrated Work Strageies' consultants are always available for follow-up sessions so that you can utilize these tools to their full potential.
- 360° Feedback Assessments
Used in many organizations to help leaders keep close tabs on how they are perceived by others, 360 degree assessments provide anonymous feedback from many sources. The term 360 is used because the feedback comes from a full circle of stakeholders, those we manage, our peers, our managers and sometimes internal or external clients. We use an on-line survey format which offers complete confidentiality and rapid processing of results. This service includes the data-rich report as well as private consultation to review the results.
- Organization/Department Assessments
How is your organization performing on key metrics? You can customize one of our organizational assessment tools to assess employee or board member understanding of the areas of strength and weakness in your organization. This type of assessment is useful for strategic planning as well as process improvement and change initiatives. The results of this assessment are usually discussed in a group setting with key organizational leaders.
- Team Assessments
Understanding the team dynamics of how groups interact can be mystifying. We help make it clear and simple. We provide the group with many methods to shift behaviors to greater productively. We have several types of team assessments, including DISC, which look at a combined view of the individuals involved to see the natural strengths and issues of the group as a whole.
- Individual Assessments
Developing a greater self-awareness is one of the key aspects of professional development. An individual self-assessment helps illuminate your natural preferences for working, processing information, dealing with rules and procedures and many other dimensions. This information is critical for leveraging your strengths, and creating an individual development plan. Our assessments include a private review with a certified professional behavior analyst.
- Observational/Shadowing Assessments
The value of having an on-site observer is that the data gathering happens real-time and does not rely on asking others what they thought about an event. This can be useful for leadership coaching, team development, or conflict resolution. The observers bring a wealth of experience in organizational dynamics which allows them to perceive underlying issues that may not be apparent to others. A detailed report is produced as a result of the observations that can be used for further development work.
